Fall Festival Reminders
*Set up for the Festival, we will begin at 9am on Saturday, Nov. 3. We can always use more volunteers.
*If there is rain forecasted for Saturday, then we will need to move chairs out of the Sanctuary on Friday night. If you are available on Friday in the event that we need to do that, please let Gina Powell know.
*Desserts for the Dessert Auction should be delivered by 11am on Saturday, Nov. 3.
*Cookies or brownies for the Food Table—be sure to pack 1 cookie or 1 brownie per snack-sized ziplock bag and bring them to church on Saturday, Nov. 3 by 11am.
*Each family is also asked to bring 1-2 packs of soda for the festival. Please place the soda in the kitchen.
*Be sure to invite friends and neighbors to the festival! Like and share the event on social media as well.
First Sunday Food Collection
Food Assistance Request: On the first Sunday of each month, the SRPC Diaconate collects canned and dry goods for the local food pantry. Please bring an item or two to donate to the local food pantry and place it in the bin in the foyer.

Fall Festival: November 3 11am-3pm
Fall Festival will be on Saturday November 3 from 11:00-3:00. The festival will be held rain or shine. There are four sign up sheets on bulletin board relating to the festival. Please sign up if you are willing to work that day or can bring items either for donations or for temporary
use. Each family is also asked to bring 1-2 packs of soda for the festival. Please place the soda in the kitchen.
No Ladies Book Club Meeting in October
Ladies Book Club will not meet in October. Our next meeting will be November 8, at Susan Shirasago’s home at 6:30.
We will finish up our discussion of Augustine’s Confessions.
Senior Fellowship Brown-Bag Lunch: October 10
Senior Fellowship Brown-Bag Lunch If you are on the senior-side of 50, please bring your lunch and join us at the church building for a good time of fellowship. Dessert will be provided.
Arts and Crafts Sale to Support Kianga Kids: October 20th
Kianga Kids: All women in the church are invited to come to SRPC on Oct. 20 at 2pm. Lois Carr will be bringing items from the Kianga Kids ministry for purchase. Items include jewelry, purses, and other items. Light refreshments will be served. This is a wonderful opportunity to support Kianga Kids and get some Christmas shopping done at the same time. Please come and bring friends and family!
Young Adult Gathering: October 5th, 5:30pm
The Spriggs Road Young Adult/College and Career Crew will meet at the Deane Home on Friday, October 5th at 5:30pm. Dinner will be served followed by a time of fellowship and a Bible study/discussion time. If you have questions please contact Matt Bowles.
Ladies Bible Study: September 18
The Ladies Bible Study will begin meeting again September 18th from 10am to 11:30am. We will begin a new study on the book of Revelation. The study guide is available free online: Study Guide to the Book of Revelation
For the first meeting we will discuss “Introduction to Studying Revelation” (pages 1-10) of the study guide.

Fall Work Day: October 27th
Fall Work Day: October 27th starting at 8:00 am and finishing by 12:00 noon at the church. We will need help outdoors with mulching, gardening and grounds clean up; indoor help with carpet cleaning and general maintenance. Your help is needed! Many hands make for light work!
