Palates and Palettes Paint Night: Friday, November 12th, 6:30-9:30 p.m.
Palates and Palettes paint night at the Kims’ home! Please, bring snacks and beverages to share. Laurie Mang will be instructing the painting class; RSVP to Laurie to save your spot.
A modified men and boys campout is tentatively planned for Friday, November 5th and Saturday, November 6th. Setup begins the afternoon of the 5th. We will have a short devotion before a giant bonfire Friday evening (weather permitting). The fire is planned to start at 7 p.m. at the latest to allow time for a devotion. Men and boys are welcome to come for just the bonfire or to camp as well. RSVP to RE Joe Deane.

Due to a rainy forecast our annual church picnic has been postponed to Saturday, Oct 17th from 3-7 pm. Food will be served at 4pm.

We will be making a few changes to be cautious, so please read carefully. We hope this will be an opportunity for our entire church family to be “together” during this unusual year.
It will be outside and there will be plenty of room to spread out. Please be especially mindful of those with health risks.
– Bring your own chairs/picnic blanket
– Bring your own drinks (no cups or drinks will be provided)
– A mask is recommended for going through the food line and when talking with others.
– Food will be served at 4 pm.
– There will be a set menu provided (no need to bring any food to share) We will be having Fried Chicken, Meatballs, Mac-n-cheese, Baked Beans, Corn, Salad, Applesauce, and Cookies.
– Plates will be filled by servers with masks and gloves.
– Feel free to bring your own picnic meal if you prefer.
– Rain date will be the following Saturday. We will make an announcement by Friday, if needed.
Since the 10-person rule is still in effect, we are going to push the family campout a few more weeks to see if we can do it. The new dates are June 11-13. We will have the pool open and available. We will also plan to have 2 porta potties and divide up the families for limiting exposure… If you are thinking about coming, let the Deanes know so they have an idea of how many will try to attend.
The date for the Annual SRPC Family Campout has been changed to May 21 – May 23. This, of course, is contingent upon a change in the current stay-at-home mandate currently in place in the commonwealth. Please add these dates to your calendar. More information will follow. There will be a fellowship meal on Sunday, January 5th, following the worship service. Please bring a main dish and either a side, salad, or dessert. As a rule of thumb, bring enough food for your own family plus one more. This way there will be enough food to accommodate for visitors.

Fall Church Picnic- Oct 5th: Our annual fall picnic will be held Saturday, October 5th, from 3 p.m. until dark, at the Deane property. Food will be served at 4:30 p.m. There will be a firepit in the evening as well. The following are provided: hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, condiments, drinks, paper products, and utensils. Please bring: a dessert and a side dish/salad to share (please bring serving utensils), lawn chairs and/or picnic blanket for your family, portable canopy if you want one, fishing pole and bait if you want to fish, football, frisbee, etc. Parents: There is a pond on the property.
