First Sunday Food Collection

Food Assistance Request: On the first Sunday of each month, the SRPC Diaconate collects canned and dry goods for the local food pantry. Please bring an item or two to donate to the local food pantry and place it in the bin in the foyer.

Items most needed:

Fall Festival: November 3 11am-3pm

Fall Festival will be on Saturday November 3 from 11:00-3:00.  The festival will be held rain or shine.  There are four sign up sheets on bulletin board relating to the festival. Please sign up if you are willing to work that day or can bring items either for donations or for temporary

use. Each family is also asked to bring 1-2 packs of soda for the festival. Please place the soda in the kitchen.

Arts and Crafts Sale to Support Kianga Kids: October 20th

Kianga Kids: All women in the church are invited to come to SRPC on Oct. 20 at 2pm. Lois Carr will be bringing items from the Kianga Kids ministry for purchase. Items include jewelry, purses, and other items. Light refreshments will be served. This is a wonderful opportunity to support Kianga Kids and get some Christmas shopping done at the same time. Please come and bring friends and family!

Ladies Bible Study: September 18

The Ladies Bible Study will begin meeting again September 18th from 10am to 11:30am. We will begin a new study on the book of Revelation. The study guide is available free online: Study Guide to the Book of Revelation

For the first meeting we will discuss “Introduction to Studying Revelation” (pages 1-10) of the study guide.

New Format for Tuesday Evening Prayer Meeting

Beginning Tuesday, September 18, at 7:00 p.m., the Tuesday evening format will feature 15-20 minutes of devotions from Scripture, 15-20 of prayer, and 15-20 minutes of singing songs (occasionally learning new ones).  Childcare will be available.  We will have pizza at 6:30pm for those who  have signed up. There will be a sign up sheet on the bulletin board in the foyer.

Men and Boys Campout: NOTE DATE CHANGE ***October 18-20th

Men and Boys Campout: The annual campout will be held Thursday afternoon thru Saturday, October 18-20th. Come when you can for as long as you can. It will be at the Deane property. A porta-potty, sink, non-potable water, and firewood are provided. Many activities are available: Fishing; Hiking; Horse-shoes; Tomahawk Throwing; Wood-splitting; Safe Firearms Range; Frisbee golf; Kayak and Canoe; Rope Wall; Archery.
