Any young people who desire to become communing* members of Spriggs Road Presbyterian Church are invited to attend a 13 week session of Communicant’s Classes on Tuesday evenings beginning September 12, 2017.

*Communing members are those who have made a profession of faith
in Christ, have been baptized, and have been admitted by the Session to the Lord’s Table. (Book of Church Order 6-2)
Brush up your parenting skills and be encouraged: We will be hosting a live-streaming parenting conference by Paul David Tripp on Sept 29th and 30th. Please mark your calendars and save the dates. The conference is based on his book Parenting: 14 Gospel Principles That Can Radically Change Your Family. This is open to all, whether parents of young or older children, grandparents, future parents, those working with children… The conference will be at SRPC on Friday evening from 7pm to 10pm and Saturday morning from 9am to noon. Childcare will be provided, but please note the late night on Friday. Please RSVP if you plan to come and if/when you will need childcare to robin.deane21@gmail.com. Feel free to invite others to this event, but childcare will only be for SRPC members and regular attendees If able, please plan to bring an appetizer or dessert on Friday and a breakfast item to share on Saturday.
Palettes and Palates: Painting for Children ages 6 and up will be offered August 23 at 2pm at the Kims’ residence. Parents: please contact Laurie Mang if your child is interested.
VBS Set Building and Volunteer Meeting is now scheduled for Saturday, July 1. Set building and painting will begin at 7am. Volunteer Meeting will begin at 10am. Wear clothing suitable for painting and bring a sack lunch.
All Choirs will take a break for the summer. Practice will resume again in the fall. Barbara Harris and Paula Strain would love to hear from anyone who would like to offer special music during the summer months (or any time!).
YOU CAN HELP with VBS by donating or lending items needed for the week of VBS! Check out the Donations List posted on the wall by the coat rack.
Also, we need 150 empty 4 oz. yogurt containers for VBS. Please place empty containers in the bin provided in the kitchen. Thank you!

This VBS is being provided to the public free of charge. If you would like to make a donation to the VBS program please click the donate link below.
12-packs of soda are needed for the VBS this summer. These will be for the volunteers’ refreshments during VBS. If every family could bring one 12-pack of soda and leave it on the kitchen counter, that would help tremendously! Please label the 12-pack “VBS”.
