Fall Festival 2019: Donations Needed

Donations needed: for the “Everything Christmas” Basket which will be auctioned off at the Silent Auction at the Fall Festival. If you find an item you would like to donate, kindly write your name next to the item on the list posted on the bulletin board and bring it to church no later than Sunday, October 27. Place the item in the container marked: “Everything Christmas” Basket Donations. All proceeds go to the Deacons Fund. Thank you for considering donating!

 

Fall Work Day: Saturday, October 26, 2019

Fall Work Day: Saturday, October 26th: 8 a.m.-Noon, rain or shine. We will be doing various work activities both inside and outside the church building. Volunteers are requested to bring gardening tools, weed-eaters, hedge trimmers, and loppers.  Please label your tools.  Giving even an hour of your time will help our church.  For any questions contact Ralph Bentley.

Wednesday Morning Ladies Bible Study: October 9, 2019 at 10:30am.

All ladies are welcome to to attend the Wednesday morning ladies Bible study which meets from 10:00 – 11:30 am. The study begins promptly at 10:30 am, but the doors will be open at 10am to give you time to get settled and to visit before the study begins. A nursery is provided.

This year they ladies are studying Hebrews using the Let’s Study Hebrews study guide by Hywel Jones. This week (October 9) the study will cover chapter 1 of the study guide which covers Hebrews 1:1-4. Please contact Laura McNeill if you have questions or would like to purchase a study guide.

Reminder – 2019 Fall Church Picnic: This Saturday

Fall Church Picnic- Oct 5th: Our annual fall picnic will be held Saturday, October 5th, from 3 p.m. until dark, at the Deane property. Food will be served at 4:30 p.m. There will be a firepit in the evening as well. The following are provided: hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, condiments, drinks, paper products, and utensils. Please bring: a dessert and a side dish/salad to share (please bring serving utensils), lawn chairs and/or picnic blanket for your family, portable canopy if you want one, fishing pole and bait if you want to fish, football, frisbee, etc. Parents: There is a pond on the property. Please keep track of your little ones. We want everyone to be safe. There will be a sign-up in the foyer if you plan to attend. For any questions, please see Robin Deane or Gina Powell.
