Spriggs Road Presbyterian Church
And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. Acts2:42
There will be no Tuesday morning ladies Bible study the week of Thanksgiving.
Please note these additional holiday changes to the Tuesday morning Bible study schedule:
We will meet 11/27, 12/4, and 12/11. We will then break for the holiday season.
On January 8th we plan to meet for breakfast and for a time of fellowship at 10am at the IHOP on Hoadly Road.
On January 15 we will resume our regular schedule and study of Revelation in January.
On Friday, November 30th at 5:30pm there will be a Spriggs Road Young Adult/ College and Career Crew meeting at the Bowles house.
An almost end of semester event!
And, a sendoff for Ashton before she goes to Panama!
A little chili, grilled cheese, games, and then a study/discussion after dinner.
You can contact Pastor Matt or comment on the facebook post to ask questions or to RSVP.
Pie and Praise: Sunday, November 25, 7-8 PM at the church building.
We will have a time of singing, testimonies of God’s faithfulness, prayer, and fellowship.
Please bring a pie or other dessert to share. This is a great way to get rid of any of those leftover desserts hanging around your house after Thanksgiving.
Ladies Book Club will NOT meet Thursday, Nov. 8.
Next meeting will be Dec. 6th at 6:30pm to finish our discussion of Augustine’s Confessions. We will meet at Susan Shirasago’s home. For details or directions please contact Maria Ettema.
Please note that we WILL have a fellowship meal on Sunday, November 4th after the worship service. The previous announcement that it was cancelled was incorrect.
Please bring a main dish and one of the following: a side, a salad, or a dessert.
It is our goal for members and regular attenders to bring enough food so that any visitors to our church can stay for the fellowship meal, even if they did not bring food. A good rule of thumb is to bring enough food to feed your own family plus one guest.
Teens are invited to gather at the Heisey home on Friday, Nov. 9th at 5:30pm for a time of food, fun, fellowship, Bible study, and discussion.
Please RSVP to Pastor Matt if you plan to attend.
